I said world class is for the best 5 players (in a group), strikers for the matter, at the moment.

I gave an example of the 5 most efficient scorers out there on a very short timeframe without indicating that it was a list of world class player, and i also precised that world class status required "continuity" thus eliminating a player like benzema from that list.

I'm sorry dude but this post is just insane. I think people need to step back and realize that this season is not even half way over and that is what I assume you guys who are calling him world class are basing it on. I mean he doesn't play for his country, he's never won a league or a scoring trophy and if you look at any of his previous years there no where near world class.

Please consider what Rooney, Drogba and Villa have accomplished in there careers before you go around saying Soldado is better then them, I mean he's not even on the same planet as these players. Sure, he's on better form right now but I'm sure if you asked Soldado he would tell you he would be thrilled to even be mentioned with those three.

You are talking about three players who have dominated there respective leagues for YEARS. And I'm getting a bit tired of everyone all of a sudden thinking Villa isn't very good. I mean how soon people forget about how good he was in the World Cup (biggest stage in the world) or the Euro's or the Champions League final with that great goal or when he was bossing La Liga with Valencia. Some people really have short memories on here.
