Zagreb player gets himself sent off in a game that means nothing to them, and they ship 3 goals in 5 minutes of second half, despite being quite solid in the first half, and the rest is history.

My mom just called me outraged to tell me that she thinks its a conspiracy too (lol, she never watches football).

But apparently, Zagreb didn't even TRY. I haven't seen the match, but in the replay the goals all looked rather EASY, weird red card.

Ajax goals actual goals too.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a bookmaker office paying of Zagreb to suck epically tbh. About the linesman for the Ajax-RM match, I'm not sure (who was he? and where was he from?)

The way it happend.

The red carded player used to play in France for Monaco. Sent off after 18 minutes in a game where theres nothing to play for 2 bookable offences. Hmmm...

I didn't see the games but it's totally possible someone payed Zagreb off I guess.

I don't see any grand conspiracy revolving around UEFA, however...

We did not try in the first half. We would not have started with a B team if we believed that we could go trhough.

The fist half was just bad from both team. When the Zaghreb player was sent off for two yellow cards, they opened the score, Lloris made two great saves but could not pull the third.

We equalized at 1-1 just before half time.

When you learn that Ajax is losing 2-0 at half time and that you are playing a 10 men team who is way inferior, you give all to attack and we did it. We subbed a CB for a striker.

We could have score more I think but at the end we just kept the ball to avoid any bad surprise.

He broke two goal actions by faulting Lacazette who owned him and then Gomis.

And wasn't the 1 Madrid goal actually offside?

Leko was deserving a red card all the group stages....Simply Zagreb is utter garbage and a shame for the champions league. 6 goals in one half at home...Never seen.

By the way, Ajax played horrendous and I dont think they deserve to be one of the best 16 teams in Europe. Madrid was walking all the game and playing nothing, and they won confortably in the second half

I don't think any of the teams involved necessarily paid off the other teams, and especially not UEFA, however, I would not be surprised if bookkeepers were involved with this.

It happens quite often, I have seen it before that you are just like... come on dude, you don't miss that goal, or you would have had that shot goalie.

Zagreb had nothing at stake, bit of a corrupt country, and then buying off a linesman... It is not uncommon guys.
