The Nou Mestalla, the San Mames Barria, the new Atleti stadium ( I forget what its called) and the refurbished Bernabeu... thats some pretty serious investment in Spain and good for football as well. I think Getafe or Malaga wanted a new stadium too. Throw in the Camp Nou, some bloody good stadiums there.

What will happen to the old Mestalla?

allianz arena, really? the only thing they have in common is the outer "cloak", and even that doesn't look similar

sure the "cloak the stadium" concept is there but that's it really...

mestalla will be demolished when we move to the new stadium, bankia own the land and it's in a pretty lucrative part of the city

That's a nice looking stadium. Really futuristic looking. IRRC it's a 70+ thousand seater stadium, would Valencia be able to fill those seats up on a weekly basis?
