Re: Invincibles no more
I was a little dissapointed with the gamt tbh, I thought it would be more tactical. Was still fairly fun to watch, but I wanted more to reall think about.
Chelsea didnt press, but they have had good success recently by dropping a bit deeper and its fair they stick with that.
Man City didnt press, which didnt surprise me, but where was the possession? Still dont see the point of Barry.
Balo is a diver and gets out of control, but technically and physically he is a beast, he did well when he got in the game but didnt get in it enough. Silva and Aguero, not enough touches either...where is the possession? Manchester City need a deep lying playmaker or some fashion to complete their first 11.
I felt though Chelsea were a little lucky, they didnt create after the red card and had to rely on the penalty. But it was obviously a clear penalty. My surprise was why didnt Chelsea press high up the pitch with the man advantage? They still let City have the ball and retreated back into their own half. Mata was getting the ball where Cole was supposed to be, thats how deep they were still.
Eventually City settled for the draw and gave Chelsea possession by dropping deep and removing ball players for destroyers.
In the end, Chelsea deserved it, because at least they did something.
I always thought, when trying to hold onto the led, possession was the best. I have seen the new way though, let Drogba post up in the corner and give it to him...what a beast lol
Shame Yaya didnt get involved and we would of had a intresting battle down there.
And finally, Kompany had a good game but he needs to pick his life up after what Mata did to him lol

Valencia deserves their piece of the cake but you can't be serious when you give all credit to Valencia or give most of the credit to Valencia considiring he was a good player before he went to Valencia

Re: Invincibles no more
Yep, so good he and Madrid B got relegated from the Segunda.
Guy was at Madrid for 4 years, only 1 year in the B team, was in Valencia´s first team squad 4 years and its Madrid who deserve the credit? Like really?
He was obviously always a talent but jeez.

Despite the relegation was our best player and 2nd highest scorer after Negrado. Came to us when he was 15.
So keep ignoring that we had a part of his devolopment

Re: Invincibles no more
Mata being a madrids product or not, is not really a concern anymore. He made his breakthrough in Valencia, besides we have much more prominent youth players than Mata anyway.

Arsenel deserve credit for having Cristiano Ronaldo at the training ground for a day.

Mata really established himself at Valencia. At Madrid he was never going to be taken seriously and if he had stayed there he wouldn't be at the level he is at today. Valenica gave him a chance and deserves the most credit for him. Also, if he was that good at the time then why wasn't he used at Madrid?

Didnt say you didnt play a part, but to say you deserve more credit than Valencia is just funny.

He wanted to be guaranteed a first place in the team. Obviously we didn't want to guarantee anyone a first place so he left us.
