It was a good move for him, but thats what happened. Im not deluded, ask any Madrid fan. He wanted money we were not willing to give to a guy just out of the youth team, and he wanted guarantees. In hindsight, I guess we should have accepted but the reason he left isnt as noble as you think.

Yaya has been shite tonight aswell.
The loss had to come and there isn't much shame in Chelsea at the Bridge... especially considering our earlier unluck and questionable decisions. Plus the players that have played very average.

While for example, Cesc Fabregas joined Arsenal at August 2003 (at 16) made his debut on October 2003, made first team the just 1 year after joining, plus he was best player in WC U-17 (2003 | winning both goled boot & golden ball)
