Valencia

Fixed.

Valencia deserves their piece of the cake but you can't be serious when you give all credit to Valencia or give most of the credit to Valencia considiring he was a good player before he went to Valencia Laughing

Mata really established himself at Valencia. At Madrid he was never going to be taken seriously and if he had stayed there he wouldn't be at the level he is at today. Valenica gave him a chance and deserves the most credit for him. Also, if he was that good at the time then why wasn't he used at Madrid?

He wanted to money.

Fixed.

You serious about that bro? He saved his career by moving. I mean how more deluded can people get.

Did anyone see what the official City twitter tweeted?

" RT @MCFC 90. Clattenburg over rules a linesman’s decision. Not often you see that… Oh wait, its in Chelsea’s favour…makes sense."

They’ve since deleted and posted this “The tweet about Clattenburg was by no means intended to be bitter, just a bit of a joke. Hope I didn’t offend. #MCFC” Hilarious

I also thought that the penalty given to Chelsea was a bit controversial, but what do I know.

It was a good move for him, but thats what happened. Im not deluded, ask any Madrid fan. He wanted money we were not willing to give to a guy just out of the youth team, and he wanted guarantees. In hindsight, I guess we should have accepted but the reason he left isnt as noble as you think.

From bluemoon
Yaya has been shite tonight aswell.
The loss had to come and there isn't much shame in Chelsea at the Bridge... especially considering our earlier unluck and questionable decisions. Plus the players that have played very average.
Take it out on Arsenal next week
Very Happy

he played 3 years for realmadrid youth teams? didn't he.. so did Nolito for Barca B..
does did mean he's a lamasia product #justsayin

negredo spent just 2 years at RealMadrid B, he was 20 years old when he joined real.. also #justsayin :coffee:

Guti? Casillas? Soldado?
for sure u should give the credit for castilla..
but negredo, mata or even raul i don't think so..

inbeforepuyol&pedrojoinedat16/17

just to clarify my point, both Pedro & Puyol spent upto 5 seasons at Barca youth teams, before making the first team debut !
While for example, Cesc Fabregas joined Arsenal at August 2003 (at 16) made his debut on October 2003, made first team the just 1 year after joining, plus he was best player in WC U-17 (2003 | winning both goled boot & golden ball)

Pretty much this.

My dad and I were switching the channels in the first half.

Juve took priority in the end. Laughing

Only just watched the highlights, and the commentator was talking about the red card like 'Aiyayayayaya. That's a red. That's a red! Bye bye (:'

Guy was at Madrid for 4 years, only 1 year in the B team, was in Valencia´s first team squad 4 years and its Madrid who deserve the credit? Like really?

He was obviously always a talent but jeez.

Despite the relegation was our best player and 2nd highest scorer after Negrado. Came to us when he was 15.

So keep ignoring that we had a part of his devolopment

Didnt say you didnt play a part, but to say you deserve more credit than Valencia is just funny.
Im sure noone said that, but its harsh to say that we didint have our part of him becoming a successful player.
