The agent of Real Madrid stopper Raul Albiol has wasted no time in rejecting links with Italian giants Juventus.

The 26-year-old was paired with a January switch to the Old Lady by some sources in Italy on Friday morning.

However, it seems that the Old Lady have made no approach for the former Valencia and Getafe centre-back.

“They are just rumours,” representative Manuel Garcia Quilon told calciomercato.it this afternoon.

“There are a couple of German clubs who are interested in my client, but there has been no contact with Juventus or any other Italian club.”

The Bianconeri have been paired with a swoop for a new defender after Christmas. They are being tipped to sign a centre-back or a new left-back.
