Good player but lacks efficiency,he plays like a very poor mans messi lol,get the ball and run at defense and he barely succeeds at it.Never been a Big teams material anway.

Signing makes no sense.......

Osvaldo, Totti, Bojan and Lamela already and going to buy another forward scratch

RB, CB and maybe a CM would make much more sense than this.

Good player but his finishing is a little suspect as he wastes a lot of opportunities which is not a great formula for a striker in Serie A. I don't understand this move at all but Luis Enrique has wanted to sign him since he got to Roma so he obviously has something in mind.

IMO 20-25 mill is too much for him and that money could be much better spent for Roma in other positions as I like there strike force a lot already.

BTW, it's a good move for Nilmar as Villareal may get relegated just like I said when they sold Cazorla. That will go down as one of the dumbest transfers in history of La Liga, right up there with the Ibra/Eto'o deal.

Not a signing we need. Most fans know we need a CB a lot more than we need another attacker, but this type of signing has Luis Enrique written all over it so I can't say I'm too surprised overall.

He will add that lighting speed to your attack something Bojan and Osvaldo lack. Quality player and I see him banging in goals.

I don't disagree that he will add guile and pace to the attack, but I just don't think he's what we need currently considering that we just had to play our best midfielder as a defender against the table-toppers.

Yeh true, this doesn't mean that you won't sign a defender. You can always get Albiol. Wink

Would prefer Godin or Garay personally, but Albiol's certainly a possibility. I think our new CB will come from either Spain or South America anyway.

How Big teams didnt go for Garay is beyond me,he has always been very good player.Owned rooney and co twise this time in CL,very underrated and most importantly very comfortable and calm on the ball.Really pissed we let him go instead of albilol who is here only because he is Spanish .

An injury free Garay would be great for you guys. I actually like him a lot.
