anyway average age doesn't mean shit...

team A can get an average of 26 by having 22 26-year old players
team B can get a 26 average by having a starting XI of 30-year olds and 22-yo backups

point is, lower average age doesn't mean serie a isn't a retirement home anymore, it just means the backups are getting younger :lucas:

EPL is the new retirement house for oldies who want to play CL football but still get knocked into Europe in group stages.

In order to "improve" you need a target. So what's the ideal average age of a team?

You would have a hard argument for any number.

The fact is,only shallow football fans have hardons for younger players...There's just absolutely nothing wrong with having an experienced squad.Rate a player for his ability FFS,not age.

Arsenal think otherwise, but again... they haven't won anything for a while :coffee:

Arsenal just can't get to enjoy the fruits of their work cause money clubs lure their hard work into their dollar green oasis. That is why I will always rate Arsenal...They keep coming back starting from 0.
