Fact is, for some reason I don't think Suarez missing won't hurt us all to much. Why? Well despite his overwhelming influence and spectacular play his individualism does tend to cost us at times as this way maybe we will see a more efficient team deployed this time around. Plus, I personally don't think that Carroll does to well when Suarez is around due to conflicting styles as a whole. Spearing MUST be played to anchor while Adam MUST do his job and actually control and dictate tempo this time around. Downing has his advantage for us within the left or right yet despite his lack of right foot he has performed better on the right side as from here he doesn't just cross in, instead, dekes in passes. Gerrard for some reason I feel will have an underwhelming game, yet his role will be simply to provide that incisiveness and decisive decisions to supply carroll and with his own genius. Bellamy simply for the work rate and his superb decision making.

I just hope to God that Kenny does NOT play the god forsaken 4-4-2 and this time hopefully he will allow Carroll to do what he does best and that is to LEAD THE LINE.

Aside from that I see Kuyt playing while Spearing will be benched imo.

And this is a MUST WINZZZZZ1!!!!!!!!

This will be a tough game. Toon are on a downward spiral due to injuries in their defence, but they do have one of the most in form strikers in the league in Demba Ba.

You lot are gonna be playing without your key player Saurez, so you will need to depend on Gerrard to influence the game. Big opportunity for Carroll to step up too and prove a point against his former club.

It can go either way tbh, but I think it will end in a 1-1 draw.
