I just remembered the infamous sell CRonaldo thread from the Real Madrid section ie Babun's Kneejerk and ensuing flame war where all hell was unleashed on Ronaldo.....and with my hatred and disdain less than 24 hours after he almost single handedly lost us the biggest game of the season thus far this is what I produced. All this tactical analysis and wanting him to play different positions and play different roles is unneccessary

It would be good if he made the rational passes and made good decisions on the field....but that dosen't reqire a complete makeover as a player , merely a change in mindset.

If he had just done his job and what he normally does .....he would have scored 2 goals and we would have won the match.

Him being not a playmaker has nothing to do with that.If he's going to be a 9 , he's going to be a 9 and I'm comfortable with that.......I actually quite prefer it......rather than him dropping deep and losing the ball.

He's a fantastic player.......easily the 2nd best in the world......but he simply needs to live it easy and forget what people expect him to do.....(make unbelievable plays while holding a balancing act in greed) and allow the game to come to him naturally......and do what he does.He forced it and it showed, he's a simple player...most of his best moments come when he does things simply....just stick to it.

Anyway....I still want to sell him to city before FFP comes into effect (not even joking)

Its 7 if we count the game against Hertha Berlin..Which makes it 7,42% a chance to score from a fk. Its not that bad.

I disagree, for a while when he was still using the same technique he was still not scoring. The keepers wised up to the way he took the freekicks and it became much less effective I think.

i will not start a debate over this..as my opinion is obviously biased...cuz i don't like c.ronaldo.

but also...imo...c.ronaldo has only speed and youth over adp. in rest adp is at least as good with the ball, free kicks..etc as c.ronaldo, but they have different styles of playing, taking free kicks and everything.
also c.ronaldo wouldn't fit in adp shoes...as he still has a lot to accomplish...del piero career is ending. best to analyze this when c.ronaldo retires
