Violence erupts in Al-Ahly and Al-Zamalek matches

Since Mobarak and his regime left, the country has fell into non stop chaos, and that includes the sports departments in EGYPT, I travel a lot through Egypt before I use to go and spend 2 nights at cairo those days I only go transit through Cairo no stability what so ever after we all thought and felt the country will be lifted by the "revolution" it only fell apart.

Anyway today Al-Ahly game had casualties in it 2 at least are reported dead, now its Al-Zamalek game its half time and so far they have taken 25 mins break. :lol!:

Revolutions by definition lead to instability. The first one didn't stick so they are currently going through another. No surprise that shit is pretty *bleep* there.

sad to see one of the finest footballing nations in Africa go through such devastating events. This might be the last opportunity for their golden generation to make it to the world cup, but the way things are going there i dont think that will be possible

El ahly were playing El Masry...........at the start of the match El ahly were winning 1-0 and playing really well,until starting from halftime the El masry fans got crazy they were throwing rocks and stuff on the el ahly players bench and they were distracted...they won 3-1 and in the last 5 minutes their fans were so happy that they came onto the field and attacked the el ahly players..most of them ran away but the goalkeeper was beaten really hard and he lost consciousness..and the playmaker Mohamed Barakat was severly injured.After the players ran away they attacked El Ahly's fans as the match was on the oppositions stadium ..they were outnumbered and about 25 to 30 people were killed and about 20 other they cant find them, alot more injured.El Ahly players talked to a famous guy called shobeer and they told him "*bleep* them what do they want they won the match".It is also believed that the club has resigned from the egyptian premier league..........
