Well last year, we fought till the end. I don't know, I thought that's what ordinary clubs do.

I'd be pissed if my coach gave up on the league. Regardless of how futile it might seem you don't give up. It sends the wrong message.

That's depressing. As hard as it is, it's possible for Barca to still win the league. Not gonna happen, at this point in time considering how we're playing, but Madrid loses a game, we win, then we win against them and it's 4 points. 4 Points and we're back in it.

I dont think its all that wrong? Hes just being realistic. I myself didnt give up, not until the loss If Real win tmr its 10 points gap, surely that even. 7 was doable u would feel, but 10....

If the Barcelona and Pep were as delusional as Real Madrid, they would not have had this given up approach.

Imagine if we gave up this early in 2006-2007 season

We were down by 6 points last year and still gave it all tbf

6 points + were handed a manita by Barca so the game at Santiago felt impossible but we still gave all for the title

tbh that the thing i always liked about rm the most, the fighting spirit to win games at the death etc..... made me wanted to be fan forever

2007 we were in a very similar scenario to Barca now. We kept going and won the league. You don't give up, never.

Well what do u expect, its a internet forum! Well Im sure each manager has his ways of motivation...although players and managers are just human, and u gotta be realistic... in some seasons a team can hit form and hit a run, while the leader can dip. It can still happen. But the thing is, does it look LIKELY? Thats all it is, with the current form and momentum, and the latter is probably most important, it would take a collapse of immense proportions for us to overturn Real.... maybe it can start by a loss tmr vs Levante

You never give up to Barca or Real (depending on which side you are), you just never do that. Ask schuster how he liked getting fired. You just NEVER give up against your archest rival, even if it's delusional. Wwe have made some mighty comebacks in our recent history thanks to that attitude.

Fair enough... guess im still learning about the fanatic supporters philosophy But everyones got a choice right? Some Barca fans conceded a week or 2 ago where I didnt.... but I honestly do think its near impossible now, and if we keep having that mentality, it drains from the players trying to play under the pressure in the game ahead.
