Serie A and BPL got the worst draws for CL

2 Serie A teams getting 2 BPL teams so that they can eliminate each other seems to much convenient for La Liga and Bayern. Also Inter were somewhat lucky too, but they will be eliminate anyway.

A team like Milan or Chelsea shouldn't really complain about draws, if they hold winning the tournament as a realistic goal they should be able to beat whoever they are out against.

Don't think you genuinely believe this. Did I hurt you with that comment? If so then you misunderstood because I already said it doesn't matter what tie you get in CL because at the end you'll have to play the top teams anyways. The tie Madrid got should be straight forward though.

Chelsea or Arsenal could have got Lyon, Basel, Leverkusen, CSKA or Zenit. Instead they got Milan and Napoli. Both would have almost certainly go through against those other teams, I think.

I would be more confident of Madrid humiliating Chelsea than beating CSKA.

Basel gave Man Utd two games of hell, im pretty sure Arsenal would have struggled.
Benfica have been excellent this season, again, they gave Man Utd fits and they still lost to Zenit.
CSKA are excellent in attack.
All 3 would give Chelsea and Arsenal problems right now.

I saw solo goals from Doumbia while Honda, Mark Gonzalez and Dzagov are all very dangerous players.
In fact dropping a striker and playing an extra midfielder (if they do that) might actually be better for them.
They wasnt going to beat Madrid with or without him, but they did and still do I feel would put up a hell of a fight to Chelsea or Arsenal.

The drawings are rigged. They do it for television ratings and to generate interest in the early rounds of the knockouts.
Every year, it's Italy vs. England in the first round. 2 years ago, Mou's Inter draws Chelsea............
And to go even further, the French clubs got the easy draws. Marseille draws a terrible Inter and Lyon gets Apoel.

I highly, highly doubt that the draws are rigged. Out of the possible draws, it's mathematically certain that a few high-profile matches will occur in the first round.
