The guy makes that Chelsea defence look good, He actually made David Luiz look like a decent player lol.
Poor Luiz, Cahill isnt helping him at all.

JTs errors at the sart of the season were way blown out of proportion, for me hes been performing at a consistant level all season really
although no JT for two months is going to suck, without him i really cant see us getting ahead of arsenal, having said that Luiz has benn pretty good this calendar year

Hey now. Let's not be too hard on David Luiz. I mean, the guy is absolutely World Class from the neck down...

As Garry Neville said, sometimes you wonder if David Luiz is being “controlled by a 10-year-old in the crowd on a Playstation.”

Lost a one on one with Cavani for the 3rd goal?

He shouldve been way more careful before jumping onto the ball considering he was the last defender.

I saw that third goal, how come nobody mentioned that Cole completely let him run free and didnt track him in the first place?

Should of just kicked it out because he didnt have control of it, but Cole was more to blame than Luiz. If he tracked him, Luiz would of been covering rather than becoming the primary defender.

Cole, at least, made up for it by clearing the ball off the line and keeping the score respectable

Lulz did absolutely nothing at all

The ball was straight at him, wasnt exactly hard.

Im not saying Luiz did well mind you, just think he gets the blame for a bit too much. That 3rd goal was way more Cole than Luiz.

Also, I saw Luiz do a few good interceptions, would be nice to see the stats.

Ivanovic was straight up terrible, worst player on the pitch. Went forward far too much, leaving huge space behind him for Napoli.

Why would a rightback with centerback skill go forward so much against a counter attacking team? Horrid performance.

Sure Cole was ball watching but Luiz was as much as fault at goal as cole too.One would expect a much better decision making at those situations from a top team defender,he just jumped onto ball carelessly.

If Cole defended properly, the entire situation would not have even existed.

Ivanovic was shat so was Raul meireles.

This is why i dont believe that "its all players fault" band wagon btw.

Ivanovic went forward alot and did nothing, dont think he will go forward like that with out coach's instruction.

Merieles had a terrible performance,AVB played Essien in the premier league game and chose to play Meireles in CL, infact it shouldve been other way around.

i know , napoli got two or three clear cut chances which they shouldve taken , cech made a great save early on when ivanovic couldnt spot cavani

and what in heaven's was merieles doing ?

btw very courageous performances from campagnaro must say , his injury was looking awful .

We cant say that for sure, we dont know what AVB's instructions were to specific players.

Raul M cannot defend, even AVB knows that. I suspect he wanted the best combo of energy (Ramieres) and passing (Raul). Other options were Essien, Lampard, Mikel and Romeu...dont think any of them are any better at what ABV probably wanted out from he midfield.

Essien and Ramieres in the same midfield would of been horrible. They would of turned over possession more in midfield and Napoli would of counter attacked from even closer to the Chelsea goal.
