And perhaps your memory should be refreshed, but Nishank is trying to suggest that Carroll was amazing lol by using the word "easily", read over his post. Anyway, we wont have Evans and Smalling start, and even if we do, they are more than capable of dealing with Llorente at home, but away from home I do have my concerns.

Without Vidic, I think Utd struggle with physical centerforwards.

Put Muniain on Evra's flank and let him go to work.

Bilbao have a legit chance.

I can see UTD struggling if they are going to field Berbatov-Chiko formation against Bilbao.Bilbao plays a 4-2-3-1 ,couple it with their possession play and UTDs 442.

If ferguson prefers Rooney then i can see UTD winning this tie.

... Well, yeah. Rooney's performances have covered otherwise lackluster ManU performances in the past. However, I think this tie will hinge on how well ManU's CB's can contain Bilbao's attack.

I have a lot of respect for Bilbao. Good match up and I won't even be surprised if they knock us out. May the best team win.

Sorry to go off topic but...

@ Nish... so one little cusion header/assist in the 88th minute constitutes as Carroll dominating Evans and Smalling? In my mind, dominating a defensive pair is when a striker runs them ragged for 90 mins, something Carroll didn't do.

PEOPLE will go gaga over munain but apart form the first 2 or 3 minutes of carelessly losing possession, ander was quite good today . always looking for the first pass, accurate distribution, spain just have way too many oustanding midfield talents
