TBH if Real Madrid really really want one player.... they'll splash the money and get him. They have the prestige and money, everything a player wants basically.

Dunno what to say about Lucas... hope he flops but I don't think he will IMHO.

P.S Lucas didn't reject Inter - he's fanboy ffs Inter didn't have the money simply.

I'm not saying Madrid isn't attractive to players. It clearly is, but you lot are making it seem like because of that you always get the best players "when you want to" which is clearly NOT true.

Madrid is better than any other club at doing that.

There is no perfect club who never ever gets turned down, but Florentino will get his man if he really wants him....maybe not instantly , but with the help of Marca etc eventually.

Am I missing something or did we not get Robben?

We were looking to offload him due to his constant injuries. You really think we would have opted to offload him at that young age when he was clearly still a top player?

Try getting a prime Drogba from Chelsea. Or a prime Lampard. Didn't City once try to woo JT away(not saying City are anywhere near Madrid class)?
