Arrested Development's a good shout. As is Rome and Carnivale.....those shows were years beyond the others of their type....so vivid, so vicious, absolutely loved them.

Deadwood is another one that went before it's time....4 seasons wasn't enough for such an awesome show.

Was a pretty big fan of the Dresden Files also.

I like Kings as well.....really disappointed they bailed on such an imaginative storyline.

I couldnt live without it lol, so i bought the complete series on DVD

I don't really think of series that got more than 2 seasons as 'cancelled', but more along the lines of 'had their shot and reached their lifespan'. Like Seinfeld, yes, it got cancelled, but it was going on for 9 years lol..

I'm gonna have to say firefly.

HBO has bad habit canceling awesome shows Carnivale, Rome, Deadwood. From the look of it, Game of Thrones and Boardwalk Empire might meet the same fate before the they reach conclusions (Since they have freaking long story lines)

Heroes 1st season was beyond amazing. after that it was pretty crap and the last season was just pure sh1t. Wasnt surprised at all when it got cancelled

I think I'm like one of 10 people on planet Earth that never saw the big deal in Fire Fly. There was a show in ABC called Six Degrees that actually was one of the better dramas ABC made but because (as usual) of low ratings due to being placed around the same time as a certain NBC show, it never got to continue.

Also, when MTV used to actually make some cool shows, they had a cartoon called Clone High. Once again, an actually funny show that got cancelled due to the over sensitivity of people. Because Comedy Central brought back Futurama I wouldn't really call it out but still, Fox was stupid to let that one go.

Special shout outs to Joan of Arcadia, Boston Legal, Carnivale...

am i the only one who watched and kinda liked rubicon? probably...

anyway i'm pretty sure rome and oz weren't cancelled per say, they both had proper endings, hbo just don't like their shows dragging on too long (sopranos, 6 feet under, wire all had 6 or less seasons), boardwalk empire was renewed for another season too...

Heroes first season was so damn awesome, what the fck happened after that, everything went downhill and the last season especially was atrocious. Rome wasn't exactly "cancelled" it had a proper ending.

Some of the shows you guys are naming ended, they did not get cancelled. There is a difference

there is a reason i like British show, most don't go longer then 3-4 seasons nowadays
