Benfica dont need another forward in Macheda when they got Saviola, Rodrigo, Cardozo, Yannick, Oliveira and you could even say Nolito.
But yeah, I could see Gaitan going...but Man Utd? Nani, Valencia, Young, Park....do they really need ANOTHER.
Chelsea could use him much more.
Style wise Gaitan would fit though.

Apparently, Gaitan prefers playing in a more central position so who knows, that maybe his new position.

S.A.F would have to change tactics dramatically to put Gaitan in a center position, not to mention that wouldnt fit well with Rooney unless he is becoming a lone number 9 again..which I doubt.

Gaitain was a 10 back at Boca. Riquelme called him the best the that position, barring himself, in Argentina.

SAF can never play without wingers. So u cant have a 4-3-1-2 formation. Rooney will never play upfront on his own and perform as good as he does as a CF
Nani, young, valencia will all rotate around so Gaitan aint coming to sit on the bench.
Maybe fergy wants to play Gaitan and Rooney together. But as i said before, Rooney will suffer. But it can work in theory

EPL managers seem very scared of using number 10's.
Even Wenger turned to Rosicky after trying a runner in Rambo, Mata moved from out wide but he is probably the closest thing.
VDV is basically a second striker, he doesnt pass, he only shoots lol
Anyone else?
SAF to me seems the least likely to do it, especially seeing how much he has used Welbeck.

Agreed.
However i think its more to do with how the football is played nowadays in the PL.
Silva played as a No 10 often this season but for some reason Mancini didn't like it and pushed him to the left.
