I would normally want Taddei at LB and Rosi at RB for this one, with Gago, Pjanic and Marquinho in midfield. But Taddei seemed awfully tired on Wednesday so it might be smart to keep him aside, move Marquinho to LB and put in Simplicio in midfield. He hasn't done badly when called upon this season, while Greco had a tough time against Fiorentina.

Curci

Rosi Kjaer Heinze Marquinho

Simplicio Gago Pjanic

Totti

Borini Bojan

I fear for Marquinho though who would have to deal with Maggio the whole match, I'm not sure if he'll be able to cope with that. And I'm not sure if Simplicio has the legs to keep up with Napoli's midfield for the full 90 minutes. I suspect they'll have an easy time tearing through us, which means we'll have to cut down on those mistakes in possession. Vocegiallorossa are saying that LE might opt to move Totti up next to one between Borini and Bojan, while having Pjanic take up that trequartista role. For any other game I would say go for it, but I want Totti in his usual position so he could really help out in possession, while Borini and Bojan's pace could cause problems for Napoli's backline who aren't the most solid around.

We showed great character to come back.

The script was practically written for Simplicio to score the equaliser. He scored the winner against Napoli last time and it's only proper that he's our savior once again from defeat. What an impact.

Junior Tallo needed to make an impact as well and he did just that. He looked very composed for his assist and ably got up and down the flank, helping Taddei defensively as well. Between today and last Wednesday, I think he's doing well. Needs a do well in maybe one or two more games to make his case for staying up and not being loaned out.

Overall, a win would've been huge for us. We should be rueing our chances that were missed in the first half as we could've put this game to bed at that time regardless of the 2 Napoli goals. Catania are going to be very tough next week. That's where our focus has to be now.

Brilliant first half from us we should've been 3-0 had we taken our chances.
Looked very dodgy at the back though something which Napoli took advantage of both goals were Kjaer's fault, why didn't he clear it away instead of letting it go out for a corner and the defending from that set piece was pathetic Zuniga shouldn't have gotten that much space to lash one in the net, some blame on the forwards for not tracking back as well I suppose.

Then the 2nd goal Kjaer again at fault for backing of Cavani, don't won't to take any credit away from Cavani though it was a GOAT goal,Lobont couldn't do anything about it.

It looked as if we were heading for another defeat, but boom the subs combined to get the equalizer,Simplicio the legend popping up with the goal,<3 this guy,so underrated our lucky charm.Tallo with the assist deserevs huge credit

And finally I must give Enrique credit he got his subs spot on.He is not to blame for us dropping points at home if anyone is to blame it's Gago for missing that sitter in the first half and  for being his usual shite self.

Gago isn't leaving lol. We're signing him permanently from Madrid. We'd be crazy not to. Been our most consistent midfielder all season and rarely puts a foot wrong.

Enrique: 'Never under the Curva'

By Football Italia staff

Roma ultras have promised to bring a fiery protest to the training ground today Luis Enrique reiterates “you will never see me under the Curva.”

The team was jeered when it came out for a pre-match warm-up at the Olimpico on Saturday night and the insults continued after the final whistle of a 2-2 draw with Napoli.

Captain Francesco Totti and some members of his squad went under the Curva Sud to speak to the fans, who urged him to join the criticism of the Coach.

They also demanded a face-to-face meeting with Luis Enrique, something they are likely to want again in today’s training session.

“Francesco made a lovely gesture in going to see the fans,” Luis Enrique told the Corriere dello Sport.

“I did not go because at this moment it would’ve been provoking the supporters. In any case, you will never see me go under the Curva, not even if I should win 10 or 20 games in a row.

“This is something for players. When I was a player, I enjoyed the embrace of the people, but now I am a Coach.”

Rodrigo Taddei also rushed to defend Luis Enrique after the hopes of Champions League qualification evaporated.

“We have an excellent rapport with him and he deserves respect. He is a great man and a great Coach. Unfortunately, when you are forced to win, it’s as if your legs feel heavier.”

Here we go again. Do you realize that had we not gotten Gago, Greco or Perrotta would be De Rossi's back ups and our defense would be even more screwed. Just because he's not a stand out performer doesn't mean he doesn't do his job. Ok, he should be used as a sub next season, not a constant starter, but he's still very useful. He protects our defenders quite well and is a good tackler. He's our third best midfielder after De Rossi and Pjanic.

As for the game itself, well, brilliant first half. We actually managed to create some concrete chances and exploit the space we were given. Totti and Rosi's link up in the build up to Marquinho's goal was just great. Then Totti, Taddei and Bojan with some good attempts as well.

Then in the second half, we lose a man on a set piece and we're back to 0. Given the mental state we're currently in, that goal just brought us down completely and the second goal was so easy to predict, saw it coming really. I wanted LE to sub off Borini and Pjanic or Taddei to bring on Simplicio and Piscitella or Tallo, since we were visibly running on tired legs. LE got his subs right on and got us our equalizer. Better than nothing, but still disappointing considering the great first half we had. In the second, we just got exposed too easily, the midfield and defence were just disjointed completely and Cavani, Hamsik and co. took advantage of that.

Good to see Totti bring the team under the Sud, he took his responsibility. And the fans got what they deserved in that situation.

The fans/ultras are pissed about the teams recent run of results. They want Enrique gone.I reckon the reason why Totti went down to try and talk to them to avoid an incident like what happened in the Genoa game last week or to prevent the Ultras turning up at Trigoria to cause trouble.
