He's a potential creative spark in a team yet to find a single source of inspiration since the retirement of Carlos Pavon. After being held goalless in South Africa, the two last friendlies they've played, against China and South Korea, they've been shut out and barely had a look at goal. With the current squad, they don't have the creativity or ability to put the ball in the back of the net against any decent competition and the only player I'd qualify as "dangerous" on the squad is Ramon Nunez (though I'm sure they'll do fine today, Guatemala is a push over).

Najar, even in a substitution role could bring at least some form of dangerous pace down the wing against fullbacks with tired legs.

This is a joke right. Carlos Pavon retired and now all of a sudden we need Ramoncito?? You do know that Honduras traveled around the world, played in snow and rain with an interim headcoach whose never been a "coach" before and played 6 players out of position, yet it comes down to a "lack of creative spark" when it was coaching stupidity.

You do know we won UNCAF tourney over Costa Rica, tied against Ecuador at home and just played El Salvador with our reserves in a 2-2 win.

with that I'm done. Andy Najar isn't what we need. too inexperienced and imo is second to Alex Lopes when it comes to best Young Honduran prospect.

Chalk it up to "bad coaching", but there was 0 attacking intent from the entire squad when they faced the Asain nations in those friendlies. Whenever Honduras plays anyone decent at all there is 0 attacking intent.

They simply don't have a player capable of turning a loss to a draw and a draw to a win. Bring Lopes, bring Najar, I don't care, but simply sticking the with the stock group is again going to see Honduras as a far third wheel from the US and Mexico.
