Mourinho wants Zidane out of Real Madrid - report

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho will attempt to force out sporting director Zinedine Zidane at the end of the season, according to Cadena SER.
The France legend returned to Los Blancos as an advisor to incoming president Florentino Perez three years ago, but just months after Mourinho's appointment in May 2010, the Portuguese requested that the Frenchman become involved in first-team affairs. However, Zidane's appointment as sporting director at the start of the season has reportedly not worked out to Mourinho’s satisfaction.

"There are claims that he does nothing, there is not a word from him, no action," Spanish journalist Jose Ramon de la Morena told the radio station.

"Mourinho was looking for someone to crack down against bad referees. He needs someone 'worse' than him."
Mourinho is understood to have the full support of Perez, who has repeatedly expressed his desire to see out their project together.

Last year Real Madrid sacked general manager Jorge Valdano after the 56 year old's relationship with the Spanish giants' coaching staff, especially Jose Mourinho, deteriorated.

The Blancos face Athletic Bilbao at the San Mames on Wednesday and could tie up the Primera Division title with a win against the Basques.

What do you guys think? I place this in the Gen because Zidane was a legend and is still influential now so i'm curious what you think about the fallout. I have no opinion btw

Fail Thread.Mourinho said today that there was no problem with him and Zidane and that it is all Lies.

Mourinho also said he had no problems with Valdano, just saying.

Zidane never said his football was like shit on a stick so I don't see any real reason why Mourinho and Zidane would have issues...

Behind every rumor there is some truth, especially ones like this :study:

The report is not saying that they have problems tho, just that Mou wants someone else to do his job

Stupid rumours, Mourinho revels Zidane, and personally chose him to replace Valdano, he never minced words about his relationship with Valdano, he never liked him and he'll never like him.

there are no quotes to suggest mourinho or anyone from madrid want zidane out.

there is one quote in the entire article and its a spanish journalist talking to a radio station

Not just a random rumor when you actually have a reliable source.

Not that I believe the story, I just find it a bit harder to dismiss than the normal bs.

This. It will be more Zidane butthurt than anything. Like so many others, he will be chased away from Madrid and we will lose out on someone who is already proving to be very good at his job.
