Cisse goals against Chelsea

But that 2nd goal of Papiss Cisse last night................TAKES THE CAKE!

Seriously though, was to be expected, BL and EPL are similar in enough in the sense that it takes the same kinds of attributes to score, and Cissé was closely tailing Gomez one season back for the golden shoe.

You wanna know who else I'd steal off the Bundesliga if I was a mid-table EPL club?

Stefan Kießling, Patrick Helmes, Didier Ya Konan, Mike Hanke, Jan Schlaudraff, Martin Harnik and Eren Derdiyok.

All mid-range Bundesliga strikers, basically just as good as Ba or Cissé. Go nuts. Do me a solid and go for the Germans first, gives our NT options.

stuff mid-table sides, if youve got more Cisse's hidden away in BL the top sides should be going for them, cause they're gonna be that damn good

TBH they're probably all a notch below Cissé, him and Ba, maybe Obasi were the secret gems of the Bundesliga. Now it's maybe Ibisevic and the aging Idrissou who in the past had seasons in the Bundesliga like Cissé was having before he moved to the PL.

Then again, Dzeko was better than all of them and look where that's gotten him... :X

Yeah, the amount of bend on that second goal was straight out of the matrix and a product of the roll of the ball after it was chested down. I think it's in the top 3 for goals of the season, but the Crouch goal was just ridiculous.

Either way, I wouldn't mind seeing more goals like either of them every game. Glad each of them had the cojones to try and pull off some greatness for once.

Did Cisse mean to try and score his second? Clearly yes - otherwise who was he trying to pass to?

And he almost certainly did try to bend it past the keeper in the way it did - the way he struck the ball with the outside of his foot shows that.

Did it require a bit of luck to go in? Of course - but the greatest goals tend to have an element of luck...Otherwise they would happen all the time.

If Messi had scored that goal, no one would be questioning it as one of the great goals of the season and would be calling Messi a genius.

I don't know if anyone has already mentioned this, but after the match he said he was tired so he just had a pop and hoped it was going to trouble the keeper (something along those lines). Sorta lucky lol, but great goal nonetheless.

Demba Ba said that he's clearly Jelly IMO........ said he was tired so he could'nt run with the ball anymore so decided to shoot and try and score so he clearly meant it.
