i sort of agree, but coquelin and wilshere could do fine there.

He added experience, fluency and discipline to our midfield. I doubt Norwich would have scored on the counter attack like they did today

Coquelin I feel can be turned into a GOAT fullback. He'll probably be covering more at fullback than in midfield, as it has been in this season. More so with Wilshere back.

Another midfielder is needed, agreed.

The problem is without Arteta..... Song has to drop to DM where he's not as comfortable, then Ramsey and Rosicky who are both AM's are not that comfortable at CM..... so without Wilshere and Song at CM the whole midfield is unbalanced.

So yh i completely understand why AW wants M'Vila and have always understood it, you have plenty of CM's and AM's but hardly any DM's and the ones that are quite frankly CM's just doing the job.

M'Vila's built like a tank and actually ain't useless technically as most DMs are assumed to be.

It makes sence, but of course it's just so un-Wengerish killing off Frimpong's career.

Also Diaby can play there

Also Arteta can play there

Also returning Denilson can play there

Also chamberlain can play there

Also Vermaelen can play there

Also Djourou can play there

M'Vila rumors seem silly due to all this. I mean there's Coquelin, Frimpong, Song, Ramsey, Denilson, Wilshere and Arteta who can all play deep. But as Mole said, there's no natural DM there now that Song is Xavi the 2nd, Frimpong probably won't make it and Coquelin our fullback backup.

A lot of players need to be sold/loaned out for M'Vila to make economic sence.

Thing is all the players you have mentioned are CM's or AM's that can do the job.......

Frimpong aside ( who i dont rate that highly anyway) you dont have a single natural DM in the whole entire squad......

M'Vila makes perfect sense to me...... why do you need a CM/AM when you have Song, Ramsey, Wilshere, Rosicky, Arteta and Coquelin are all natural there?

I don't see Frimpong at Arsenal in the next years tbh he's just a fan favourite, so maybe bringing M'Vila isn't overkill after all.
