Do not play ramsey against westbrom, just dont, you dont need to do it. We all know ramsey is having a hard time. just give him a rest and train him up in the summer for next season.

This is the team that i suggest we play for the westbrom game:

jenkinson verm kosi gibbs

......song.......coquelin

............rosicky

oxlade*.......rvp.......gervinho

*if it is not going well if oxlade bring on benny.

This team WILL beat westbrom, there are no flaws. but if ramsey plays. than defensively we will be left open imo.

Just make sure we dont concede.. CB needs to stay back and Song needs to stay back and play DM.. Then we will win for sure.. And Sczeny.. No more choking in vital games..

The only way I can see us winning our last game is by dropping Ramsey, I would rather play Park there than Ramsey.

You leave Rasmey out (fine) but then you ask a player who is desperately out of form, to start in a game which is absolutely vital, and you take out RVP from his best position and play him on the wing. This ca't happen. Not saying we WILL lose with this setup but we got a much better chance without Chamakh, and RVP in his best position.

Just saw the highlights of our game yesterday (couldn't face watching it then) and where the hell were the back four?? Norwich were attacking at will and we only had two defenders back at any one time :facepalm:

As long as the back four stay in their half of the pitch, we should be ok with WBA

As for the team, i'd go with

im also thinking of same line up as lex but one min i say its fine one min i doubt if we should throw in inexperienced jenks
but let coquelin protect the back four and DM role(also dropping in between cbs when they spread and that should work fine
and then song with more freedom
not this current way when both verm and song attack like mad Evil or Very Mad

Forgot to add the 2-0 loss to Liverpool, where he scored an own goal. Very Happy

we have lost 10 games this season and Ramsey has been part of 9 of them.

that's unreasonable to ask of Gibbs Lex, he plays higher up the pitch than Gervinho and Benayou ffs, he's so casual, my morning strolling looks more intense than his running.

Coquelin has been solid at RB, and even though he's a beast of a CM, I think we need to play him there over Jenks who hasn't seen much gametime in a while.

Is Diaby back next week? That is a gamble worth taking tbh.

Now that I realized that Jenkinson is fit to start, I'm thinking he should start at RB and Coquelin as a CM. C'mon now Jenkinson isn't that bad, he kept Ayew and Remy in his pocket I'm sure he can deal with Dorrans.

agreed. i like your lineup not just because it has coquelin as a CM where he belongs, but Jenkinson was pretty solid to me at RB when he got his run of games earlier in the season. Put in some really nice crosses as well.
