Generalising is a sign of affection in Uruguay.....ynwa wrote:I laughed. +1
Though, I've heard there's a lot of butthurt people in Naples. Let's all generalise all Italians eh? I mean. That'd be fun and all amirite?

He never seizes to amaze me. This is indefensible, he clearly clothelines ivanovic from the back.
Surely you're taking the piss.
You've seen Cantona, Keane, Ronaldo... Young right now... all in the past decade or is that all okay if you play for Manchester United?NiallQuinnsdiscoPants wrote:gesture of friendship and admiration in his home country
Steve Bruce has turned you lot into Mancs.
What do all those players have to do with me forming an opinion on what Suarez did to Ivanovic?
Get a grip and stop being so defensive.

The "attempted volley" still makes me giggle and the "reasoning" from Liverpool fans that followed it as well.
To be very fair on Liverpool fans, I have seen with my own eyes and heard with my own ears Real Madrid fans saying Pepe accidentally stamp Messi hand or the "foul" on Busquets against Inter in the UCL was legit. So for them to defend Suarez is understandable to a point.
As for the incident, I could imagine a man snatch the side of my neck to be painful but Ivanovic may have made a meal of it. A yellow card at most in my humble opinion...

he just closed his fist for maximum efficiency and to cover a greater surface.
