I think you overrating Koscielny just a tad Dani...... if Koscielny is better than Pepe then Agger and Coloccini are aswell.......

Koscielny has had a fantastic season but thats it really and i dont think he's been the best CB in the league far from it.....

And its not like he's playing with scrubs either.... there are better defenders around who play with worse players that are better than Koscielny IMO....

I dont think he should even be in this discussion.

I named Agger Mole.

I would love to put Colo, but I need some Europa league action first tbh. He has the qualities, but I need to see more evidence.

As for Kos, I see real real quality in him. His mobility across the ground is right up there with anyone we can name, then add he is fierce in the air and loves to tackle while not being wreckless...he has a great game.

Barzagli has a bigger shout of being in the list than Koscielny..He's a bit of mistake prone too me ,i watched a no.of arsenal's games in the 2nd half especially and whole backline looked unconvincing..

Infact i think both Arsenal's CB's are mistake prone..Koscielny without a doubt is a better defender than Vermaelen but i dont think he's WC..

Pepe honestly for me is a WC CB.

I personally would'nt put Colo because although he's carried the defence practically by himself its only this season i need to see more..... and i say the same with Koscielny i need to see more.

Also what you mention at the bottom is Kos potential which i agree he has all the tools to be at the very very top but at the moment its mere promise and he needs to show more at the top for me to consider him on the level of the people mentioned.

Also did you name Agger? i cant see him i am genuinely worried for my eye sight atm lol.

As I said, Pepe is a top 10 CB quality wise..but that doesnt mean I would rather have him than someone like Koscienly. I would take Koscienly over him.

Nah, its me, I left him out by accident. But he is there now.

Its not about 1 season for me, Colo nor Kos magically became good all of a sudden. Its just I see what Kos can do vs elites and im impressed..yet to see that from Colo, no fault of his own of course.

Pepe is good at certain things, however he isn't composed.

Of course, I don't agree with Ganso's choice as I reckon Pepe is as good as a few of his choices but still, Pepe has a few screws loose for me to say he is world class.

As I stated, a good defender that can be great depending on his partner. Oh and Kompany is better than Pepe since Kompany has the brain to match with the brawn...

Top 5 for me.

I rate Thiago Silva, Kompany, Vidic, Chiellini higher than him.

Varane will be better than him in a few years IF he gets some playing time. He should leave Madrid, at least on loan because it is not good for the development of a 19 year old to sit on the bench even for one season.

For the guy who thought Pepe was better than Kompany,
