Re: Eden Hazard Fan Club
Second best player in the world after Messi.
Hazard is a level above Neymar and Ronaldo.
If only he plays more for himself rather than for the team and takes more risks, he would close the gap with Messi. Messi would still be number 1 but the gap will significantly close.

Re: Eden Hazard Fan Club
ffs Hazard did nothing besides that goal and oh my what an achievement dribbling past Douglas, Bartra and Mathieu in a preseason friendly.
His dribbling ability is extraordinary but he'll never be any close to Messi... and no, he's not better than Neymar or Suarez. Ronaldo possibly.

He is better than all three.
Only Messi bests hazard at the moment.

He's done nothing to earn that, to be called better than any of the MSN trident.
Did nothing against 10 men PSG to see his team through. It's not a player of this quality.

Re: Eden Hazard Fan Club
In Hazard's (weak) defense, players of his ilk tend to have this sort of match more often than not. That being said, another match where being home on his bed would have been more useful.

Re: Eden Hazard Fan Club
when was the last time he actually had a good game against a big team??
Apparently he sees himself as Balon d'or material. I think not babs. You are no better than the likes of Willian and co

Re: Eden Hazard Fan Club
or running past Bartra in a preseason game
I'd take Alexis over him 10 times out of 10
All he does is just throwing himself on the ground on the faintest of touches and gushing at the most fouled stats at the end of the season

Re: Eden Hazard Fan Club
I was gonna mention the Tottenham game but Hala said big team so that ends that. Jose's tactics really don't help his already helpless cause of putting any sort of influence on a match especially in big games.
I know it seems to be illegal to defend Hazard but I firmly believe he would be a whole lot better with a team who actually plays any sort of positive possession football.

I don't disagree and i think he's a fantastic player but there are some who vastly overrate him. That's it, i don't hate him or think he's crap or anything.
I laugh at him, to just respond to those who think he's up there with Ronaldo etc etc lol it's childish but who cares.

Re: Eden Hazard Fan Club
I think it's his arrogance that irks me abit. I dont doubt that he'd be a much better player at City for example but that's were I put a line to it. Never will I ever consider him one of the best even in the region he plays in. To me thete is so much more to football than just stepovers and 1-2s

Re: Eden Hazard Fan Club
let's stop this jose tactic thing, i have seen players so good under mourinho that they would force him into changing his way of things. Hazard just isnt that, mou knows hazard cant just take over games and win them in bunches.

Those players you are thinking of have explosive ability which means tactics go out the window. It was same with Pardew under us, Ben Arfa was the only one who could do something irrelevant of the tactics because of the acceleration.
Suarez, Neymar, James etc etc have the change of pace that Hazard doesn't have which means they cause problems without coaching mattering as much even if Hazard has things they don't.
It clearly has an impact IMO, he would be a lot better in a team more open team.

Re: Eden Hazard Fan Club
I dont know look at that rw for chelsea there is nobody good there and mou is completely fine with that. Also with Cesc playing so far down Hazard has noone to combine with that doesn't immediately give the ball back to him because they are scared of losing it. I dont know hazard doesn't look like the guy who will demand the ball from deep and drive forward with it and whenever he makes runs into the box there is noone to put a nice cross in. Sounds like Mou syndrome to me. Also doesn't help that the striker spends 89 minutes of the game on the ground moaning instead of helping his team

Re: Eden Hazard Fan Club
Ronaldo didn't change his mind. Or Ozil, Di Maria, Benzema, Modric, Higuain. Maybe his Inter days or perhaps Porto and Chelsea part 1 where he actually had some sort of flexibility but not now.
Though I would like to make it clear, Hazard's failings are on his own accord but I don't think Jose is doing much to appease the situation.

James and Suarez have a greater change in pace compared to Hazard? i disagree.Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:Mr Nick09 wrote:let's stop this jose tactic thing, i have seen players so good under mourinho that they would force him into changing his way of things. I think they are more dangerous because of their visions and their release. Suarez obviously can "fumble" through people, whatever that weird dribbling style of his and also more dangerous releasing the ball around the box, whether it's to shoot or to advance play; and james obviously has a left same Hazard can only dream of, he is far superior, both with shooting and passing.

Re: Eden Hazard Fan Club
How this guy is considered elite is beyond me. All he does is run like a headless chicken into brickwalls all day.
He's a decent player who can have 1-3 very brilliant games all season, with 30 mediocre games and 20 very poor ones. Nothing more.
It isnt a coincedence that hazard has remained on this level for bout 4 years now even without injuries, rotations, whilst being the teams go-to player. People talk bout negative football as an excuse as if drogba didnt beast in this same chelsea team with mourinho in it and drogba was even hardly considered a top 5-10 player by most people. Or as if other players arent doing great with other underdogs, i mean chelsea is a wc team ffs.
