He apparently told his teammates the day after the CL and told the club right afterwards... that's according to France Football, who are usually accurate.

The article says he'll go to China, too. I wonder if his destination will be Ghengzhou Evergrande (sp?), too.

Actually the article says that he did not specify or discuss any future destination...

the info circulating in france was that he had given a verbal agreement to a club in China.

Interesting. When I clicked it right after you posted it, there was a final sentence about him going to "Chine". he is 34 years old and only has a few years left or even a year.... at his age anything could happen to his body/legs

I will miss Drogba . He is still amazing when on his day.

I remember a chinese club offered something like 300,000£ a week to Drogba on January.
Anyway he still may come to Barça if his agent is still planning that trip to Zubizarreta, I really hope he does.

imo it seems like Chelsea - Barca is a healthy rivalry with no real animosity behind it. Also I wouldnt be surprised if Drogba has spoken to Yaya about Barca or at least has read what Yayas been saying about Barca in the media to help his decision. I'd love to see him here, low risk transfer for a proven player for free, we can use him to experiment as a big targetman something we have been lacking. He would also bring his winning mentality here on the back of that CL win.

I don't see why he would go there though. He's almost certain to play against Chelsea very soon if he goes there. He will not play against Chelsea anymore.. and this deal was kinda talked quite some time ago, his agent said that he has achieved everything within himself. Now is the time to earn a bit and enjoy rest of the life.
