One thing I don't get is correct me if i'm wrong but at Lille he was their set piece taker right and scored a few freekicks? He takes the occasional one but I feel like somebody like him brimming with confidence should be given every opportunity. Look at most teams leading player: Ronaldo, Messi, Suarez, Rooney etc their teams just throw them every opportunity they get.

As much as Luiz's occasional freekick going in is nice I'd much prefer Eden develops that side of his game that he was quite efficient in back at Lille, especially if he's to be the main one of the squad.

I would like that too. He has the highest ceiling of any of our players, may as well let him try hit it as often as possible

Just watched back his final year at lille, he was incredible. Of his 20 goals + 15 assists he got 2 or so goals from freekicks and a bunch of assists simply from putting dangerous balls in. Looks like he was taking freekicks and corners there.

Has now scored as many goals a third of the way into January as he did in the whole of last season
