Plan A-: Eden Hazard Empty Plan A-: Eden Hazard

Post by Guest Wed Sep 07, 2011 7:30 pm

If Neymar picks Barca or doesn't come next summer, Hazard will be bought. There is no doubt in my mind on this one.

Just so some of you realize how good he is... he's actually better than Neymar at this point of their careers. At 20 years old, he's already played 3 full seasons as a starter for Lille, the reigning Ligue 1 champions. He was the Ligue 1 player of the year last year.

His ceiling may not be quite as high as Neymar'a... but it's not that far off. Superstar in the making and he's already proven himself in a tough + defensive league.

You mean plan B.

In truth, i have little doubt we wont be able to sign Neymar

Actually, it's a debate between Goetze and Hazard imo

Gotze is not really a wing player though. He's more a AM. Short+skinny dude. But very talented as well.

That's the idea, the more we have players that can create and score on the pitch, the better. He can play RAM or LAM, and still attack the box or set up people, i value that a lot. Great work rate as well.

Yeah, but we need to space the pitch. Right now, our big weakness on the attack is that we're very leftside oriented and we don't keep width. With Gotze, Marcelo, Ozil and CR7... that's too many guys that like to crash the middle. It wouldn't work well imo unless Gotze can stick to the right and attack from there.

He's more polished as a player because the tactics are more polished at Lille, the league is tactical+physical and he's played Europa... and will get CL action this year. Brazil league is very exciting; but the teams are not that tactically organized. Plus you can't sneeze on a guy without getting a foul called. All you have to is watch Brazil NT in its friendlies and Copa America to see that they have problems with tough+tactically organized teams... that's especially true for the Brazil league players. Not a problem for Brazil players that are in Europe.

Di Maria is on borrowed time unless he wakes up big time. He's just too limited as a player right now.

I'm just saying he's more polished than Neymar right now and better able to make an immediate and consistent impact. Neymar would need to adapt a lot more compared to Hazard. Heymar is more talented than Hazard... no question there. But Hazard has loads of talent too.

I dont think it's an issue since Goetze creates separation on the wings for dortmund, with Kagawa in the middle. I think he is an all around package.

I'm looking for the creativity in passing as a major factor first.

Can't go wrong with either Hazard or Gotze honestly. They're both excellent creatively and great passers. I prefer the more mature players in Madrid frankly because, if it's a big transfer, it's very much "what have you done for me lately"... there will be very little to no patience.

I'd not be surprised if Hazard came. Zidane has been scouting this kid for a long time and recommending him to Perez for a while. Btw, don't think Gotze will come, but I'd not mind, our buys with Germany lately has been superb

Yep, Hazard is valued around 30 million.

And Sports why are you certain we will sign him if we fail with Neymar?

Hazard is part of the big 3 in terms of AM/RW young phenoms with Neymar and Gotze. We are going to sign one of them. We're more closely tied to Hazard than Gotze if Neymar fails.

Lille prez has a problem with Arsenal over the Park signing and Arsenal was the other club that was strongly tied to him. Besides, there's no way Arsenal can bid with us lol.

Zidane has been on him for 3 years now and is very close with him. In fact, Zidane is basically locked into any top talent that is playing in France at every age level. Gives us a huge advantage.

I would prefer Hazard and Neymar over Gotze tbh.

That Arsenal relationship breakdown is great news tbh that kinda forces Arsenal to focus on Gotze.
