How highly do you rate Van Der Wiel?

I really haven't seen much of him and it seems we're in for him. Is he as bad as the little of him I have seen? What are your thoughts?

I hope we will put the Van der Wiel hype train to rest for good now because this is wayyyy overrated.

it's been 3 years now that he was announced as the next big thing of RBs, and and he played a WC, 2 CL campaigns, and the Euros, and i am still wondering what the hype was about.

The guy is shet.I have been saying it for a year now.worst performance from a fb that I've seen in international football.I know it was the group of death but c'mon....

Rafael is one of the worst RB's I have seen. You cant get worse than that. VDW shits all over Rafael. I am ashamed to see this comparison.

VDW is pretty decent. He had Ronaldo is his pocket for much of the game bar slipping for the goal & 1 Miss Pass which meant crisis.

He is decent in attack & defense. However he has had 0 growth since the WC. He is an above average player,that is it. Nothing great. Van Rhijn for me is at the moment already better
