What Ronaldo lacks? Why he never gets full credit?

Lol at people who think Ronaldo is a great player. All he does is score 50+ goals and gets 15 odd assists consistently. Lol the stupid people in real world football. What do they know? The coaches, footballers, pundits...all are deceived. Real Madrid decided to pay world record fee for this dude simply because he looked good, and SAF now feels they got bargain as he looks better with every hairstyle. But there are real footballers who depend upon true footballing abilities, for whom clubs will pay 100+m tomorrow (like Messi and and and....so many other footballers). And those people at Nike...where do these marketing managers get their education? Seriously, the world picked a random good looking Portugese guy who says who can play football but can only score tons of goals, rack up some assists, is great both on and off the ball, is an awesome athelete, heads, shoots with both legs, is a dead ball specialist, is first to come and last to leave in training, is a fierce competitor and has some few other not so important traits and made him a superstar. 2nd best my ass!

I would rate him top 2 player in the world . And i believe it's true to say , the only team in the world who wouldn't build their team around Ronaldo is Barcelona , because they have Messi.

And he's easily top 2 goalscorer as well . Anyone who needs explanation for this , needs some medication as well.

On topic, he is a great footballer on his day but he is obsessed with his so-called "flair" that he puts the team in danger by trying to beat his man or shooting every time he has the ball.

He also goes down pretty easily for a man who prides himself of his calves. Hence, the need for the whopper.

CR scored and involved only in 2 goals in his last 3 games for his country. Messi scored (4) and involved in 7 goals for his country in last 2 games
Messi involved in 85% Argentina goals in 2010 while its 15% for CR in 2010.

Nothing more than scorer putting cr in same level with messi is laughable and makes CR look bad thats why he never gets his credit

This thread isn't made to clear up that Messi is #1 everyone knows that except for trolls.
Although personally I rate CR7 top 5, maybe #3. Scores goals and that's it.

if he offers something except scoring then its not world class. yeah he can run and cross like random wingers. but he is not top-10 at doing this.

I rate Ozil a more important player for Madrid then CR7 so I can't possibly rate Ronaldo as #2 in world.

FFS Xavi and Iniesta are NOT better players than Ronaldo and that is not debatable Messi may be better but it's a close call. In the end it will all come to a popularity vote.

By the way despite the fact that Messi was the clearest candidate to win the Ballon D'Or last year he got less than 50% of the votes. Ronaldo despite being an underdog (won just the CDR) got more than 20%, far more than the combined total of Xavi and Iniesta.

To those saying Ronaldo has only won the league, in 2010, Messi won just the league, was knocked out of the CL and CDR, and was poor at the World Cup but won the Ballon D'Or.
