Neymar lacks

Strength...., in the modern game, u need to have some kind of physicality and if he bulks up 20lbs, will u see a more complete form of him. He might lose a bit of flair, but being a striker, u need physicality against big CB's.

That doesn't really matter IMO...In fact,I believe non-physical players are less likely to get injured.

misconception...personal experience, through my life, most of the lads i played football with, the ones who got the serious injuries were the skinny ones, some cant even kick a ball past 20 yards now...quite sad..

the point is that in this picture he is basically of the same age that Neymar is now...

Neymar has so far shown he doesnt need to bulk up to play well...that may change in the future but for now that is not the case

and I think you are massively underestimating how much weight 20lbs is

Strength is kinda overrated tbh.

Many examples in here of people that don't rely on strength to be complete or really damn good.

Xavi, Iniesta both don't have strength...Modric, David Silva, Villa, Pedro, Di Maria all don't have strength. And a lot of those are among the best in the world.

I'm not saying it would be bad for him to gain some weight and hit the gym, but it's not the most important thing in the world tbh and won't stop him from being world class.

But I guess maybe I'm biased cause I'm skinny as hell lol

Pato hasnt gained anything near 20lb.

Plus, its still not like Pato is mowing people down and powering through people.

Its still his quickness and finishing which makes him the player he is.
