Valon Behrami has denied that he is on the verge of leaving Fiorentina for Napoli this weekend. “My future? We shall see…”

The 27-year-old was reportedly set to agree to a €8.5m transfer to the Vesuviani and finalise the move over the weekend in time for Monday.

The player also even defended himself against criticism from Viola supporters for his inevitable departure.

However, talking to Radio Blu this afternoon, he has extraordinarily denied the existence of any deal with Napoli.

“I am a player of Fiorentina and leave for the pre-season training camp with this squad,” he declared.

“My future? We shall see…”

Porto have always insisted they are not looking to sell - but coach Pereira admits that if somebody wants to pay Moutinho's buy-out clause of just over £30million, there is nothing they can do.

"We very much want him to stay and we are not looking to sell," he told Abola.

"But this is football and you have termination clauses, for us he has been great and helped us achieve the results we have."
