Is he good ? Many people rate Angel Correa guy over him. From what I've seen Iturbe looks a bit one dimensional and not very smart.

We gave up on Shaqiri and Yarmolenko so that probably meant something like this was brewing. We were on his trail very early and were among the first to show concrete interest in him so it wouldn't be completely surprising if we get him.

That said, Would've preferred we pay 25m and include a player in this deal.

Agreed 30m is definitely high, even in this inflated market. I'm surprised because Roma usually go for the bargain.

Bayern have taken Shaqiri off the market and Cuadrado's co-ownership deal makes a straightfoward transfer very difficult. It would be quite a saga and Rudi ain't got no time fo dat.

There was also Yarmolenko, but Dinamo Kiev wanted 25m which is too much for someone so unproven. Iturbe himself is still quite unproven despite that good season so 30m is rather high for my liking. That said, I'd have taken 25m + youth player for him.

On paper 30 is exagerrated price for Iturbe, you can take proven big players to that price..
He will be the 2nd most expensive player ever in Roma history , after Gabriel Omar Batistuta in 2000 hmm
