Just a guess based on the top performers from the previous friendly. We may end up playing some of the younger players to start with so we can have experienced players on the pitch in the second half as well. I would expect to see almost a complete line-up change at halftime again, with Lucas coming on midway into the second half to gain a bit more match fitness. None of the players that went to the Euros will feature, most likely, as they've only joined up with the tour squad this evening.

BR said Agger was definitely going to get some game time against Roma as he was rested vs Toronto.

That Liverpool away kit doesn't look any better being worn than it does on display. That grey mane just doesn't work, historic or not.

Pressing has been very good. Not giving Pool any time on the ball.
We look very bright coming forward, but haven't taken the clear chances.

HT. Finishing's been pretty poor, but I like just about everything else.
Pool opened us up a few times and have peppered Lobont. Taddei and Rosi have equally been given torrid times.

How much of that starting 11 would you say are regulars? Just trying to gauge what I should be thinking of our half.

I also thought Rosi was terrible. I am not impressed even the least bit with him. He was probably the weakest link for us by far tonight and I don't think he has it in him to improve the way we need him to.

Re: AS Roma - Liverpool
Doesnt get much better than that for a friendly. Excellent showing for the american fans.
I cant remember seeing Totti running so much in a first half before, either that or my stream quality was playing tricks on me. Gotta love his short-passes, so damn elegant.
I also recognized Rosi, as he was involved a lot, and he is in great shape, but has proved time and time again that he is a little headless and slow in the decision making. Which will probably lead to bigger mistakes in defense as well as some weird shooting from him instead of passing the ball, though it would have been a great goal.
Gonna watch as many Roma games as I can.
Also, Bradley, quality player! That stamina, positioning and improved technique.

Re: AS Roma - Liverpool
Great game, quite open with chances on both ends. Lobont made some excellent stops, Castan seemed quite comfortable next to Burdisso. I also noticed Rosi being the weak link in our backline. Nice to see Florenzi score, had the net not been there, that ball would've definitely hit me (oh by the way, yes, I was that close). Finally got to see Totti play in person, just a joy to watch. He covered a lot of ground and put in some great passes. Lamela also had a good impact on the game.
Anyways, not to brag, but I could now die peacefully knowing that I've met Francesco Totti and smoked a cigarette with Zeman... that's how good this road trip was.

Re: AS Roma - Liverpool
Vip pass? please lol.
Found the hotel, acted as if i was at home, met everyone. Got my Roma jersey signed by Totti, Zeman and Baldini and a Totti signature on my Italy jersey.
By the end of the trip, the whole staff recognized us. And the trip ended on the perfect note, with Zeman coming out to smoke a cigarette with us. I swear to god that man can stare right through your soul and make you sh*t yourself.
