WTF? Seriously I really don't understand SAF at all. WTF is this. We have VAlencia, Nani, Young and Giggs on the flanks.

Brazilian press says he'll sign for PSG.
Signing him doesn't make a lot of sense for them too though

Lucas is comfortable as an AM, right striker or a winger, those positions are covered by United as you have said, so I agree that there is no reason for United to sign him, but no worries, as he's not going to United. He's more than likely going to go to PSG.

As said above, United isn't getting Lucas.
Beside that, here's why they wanted to get Lucas:
1.- Rotation
2.- Ryan Giggs is 38 freaking years old

As good as Fergie is as a man manager, I don't think he's ever great in judging players and identifying the team's weak spots.
I don't know why he's going after Lucas. I don't know why he's going after RVP. I don't know why he's not going after Sahin. I don't know why he's not going after M'Villa. I don't know why our interest in Modric stopped. I don't know why we have no interest in one of the Benders.
He deserves respect for what he achieved but that doesn't mean we the fans shouldn't question his decisions.
And Lucas is not even worth 25 mil imo. Let alone 45m. Let it go ffs

yea. Sahin no, but Bender or vila would do. We need someone that has a bite in the cm. Hargreaves was perfect. WTF did he get injured

The Manchester United squad is very very well balanced in rotation and depth. Its designed to play 4-4-2 with two players for each position.
The two double pivot players for the first squad are:
Michael Carrick
Paul Scholes
Darren Fletcher
Tom Cleverly
and now Kagawa might slot in there somewhere (yes i know he plays ACM). When Paul Scholes go Nick Powell might also take his place.
Maybe United could go for an extra midfielder just to be safe, however the priority should be on getting the Ryan Giggs cover.

Scholesy's 52. Fletcher still sick with the virus, may only get back to fitness by end of the year or next year. hopefully Cleverley stays fit but we should not risk it. That's how fragile our midfield is.
For RW or LW we have Nani, Valencia, Bebe,Giggs and Welbeck who can definitely do a job in those positions.
Does anyone else shares my concern of Phil Jones? Overhyped and doesn't have the quality to show for it. I see this as Evans' proper breakout season.

From what I've read PSG offered 45mil euros for Lucas (that's why Inter pulled out), no way MU is going to compete with that

Is Cleverly fit? Is he defensively sound? I was tremendously impressed with him last season before the injury.
If United has him, IMO they need mainly a DM and they will have an awesome team:

Manchester has improved greatly over the years though, Old Trafford was a dump before they built the shopping centre and began the regeneration program. I was back where I lived recently, near where Maine Road(Man City's old stadium) was, just had to cross an alleyway to get to the stadium for games(good times), but yeah, its improved alot, all of the thugs have been removed, so I'm glad, but I would still rather live in Paris anyday.
