Is the background forum picture of the stadium Anfield with Pool vs Everton? It loads so quickly for me that I can't catch the image.

Is it possible to use/present former stars (legends really) in our banners?

We decided a while ago to use current players. One would have to discuss whether one might use former stars, too - but the problem is there are so many of them that there might be fights about which former star of which team should be included to have a somewhat fair distribution.

Using current stars limits the problem to max 2 current star players per team, which is less controversial than trying to figure out, say, two former stars of Barca or Real or ManUtd etc...

I understand that it has certain issues and might worsen the already heavy load our wonderful moderator and admins are doing. I'm saying this because we get to a lot of RVP, Gerrard, Ronaldo or Messi. But we rarely get to see even the likes of Figo etc. who have stopped playing only recently, let alone Maradona, Garincha, Eusebio etc.

Since most of those players are from less fancied clubs (Napoli, Ajax, Kiev), I guess there's actually less likelihood of controversies.

Finally, you guys (and lady) have done a swell job over the years and I have no qualm in leaving the final decision to your discretion.
