This formation is perfect. This time around I can't blame any line up or formation issues cos I'd have done the same. If we can't win this match with this line up, I'm gonna be very pessimistic about our season

Wow was so scared we were going to drop points. Moses has been great on his first 2 appearances. Adds alot late on with his direct dribbling.

Should have scored earlier ffs.

Torres

1-0 was pretty much expected.

Add me to the I Hate Stoke club. Their time wasting, game stopping and other unethical crap really makes me mad. Glad to see Luiz and Brana doing their part to give them a dose of their own medicine after we took the lead

This formation is IMO our strongest except for Torres up front. A lethal striker who is not afraid to take shots and we'd be awesome

Btw, does anyone have highlights for the same fixture under Carlo? I have forgotten why we're finding it so difficult to score that much at the moment

Yeah it was enjoyable in the sense that we had some great moments but just couldn't convert, frustrating in the fact that we just couldn't finish it off.

Lmao at Gil suggesting Mata should not be starter, he clearly is our most creative player in the final ball.

Really liked the lineup and we looked much better as the game went on.

Luiz needs to take a few pointers from Cahill, stop hoofing the ball and play simple short passes. He did better in the second half though.

Lol before we signed Cahill i thought he was your typical English CB; slow and a hoofer. But he has very good quickness and calm+smart on the ball.

Now only to bench Torres and Ivanovic for Sturridge and Cesar we would be in business.

I hope to see more of them pairing up rather than Terry starting TBH

I think I just found answers to my own question on how we managed to score 7 back with Carlo against Stoke but struggling now

1) Relatively inexperienced Begovic

2) Stoke played a really high line of defense

3) Link up play with the forwards was quick and efficient rather than slowing down with a certain Spaniard
