Finishes watching match.
Mata was the best, and romeu, azpi, moses Bert and piazon were solid and rambo looked decent next to romeu. Cahill is our best cb.

Harsh game for the Wolves! The Blues surely knows how to thrash opponents! though i'm not sure if they're just lucky or the Wolves are just not playing at the top earlier.
Hoping you get through up to the finals... ManCity was taken out this early.LOL

I think the 2 early goals pretty much killed it off. They lost alot of players over the summer so don't have a great team.
Still glad Moses/Romeu/Azpi got starts

Re: Chelsea vs Wolves - League Cup 3rd Round
Nice, easy-going match. Romeu did well even after all these months of not playing a single minute, not to mention a beautiful pen. Piazon had a nice debut as well, and linked up nicely with Bertie in the first half. Could have scored 2 or 3 goals as well. Moses was good. Mata sensational. Torres was crap, save for the headed goal from a corner...
All in all, a nice, morale-boosting win that should be good for adding to confidence and team spirit, especially ahead of the tough derby match at the weekend.

Interestingly, I read that the last time Chelsea scored 6 with 6 different goalscorers was back in 1978, with Micky Droy, Steve Wicks, Ray Wilkins, Kenny Swain, Clive Walker and Tommy Langley on the scoresheet.
Quite a few legends in that list, eh?
