Nem has a very punchable face. I'm glad the flopper and whiner is off to Siberia never to be heard from again.

Looks like we're selling Fellype Gabriel just so we're able to pay the player's salaries.  Sad

The Engenhao is supposed to remain shut down until 2015 and we're negotiating to play in the Maracana in the meantime.

Also, it looks like Fernando (gremio) is on his way to Shaktar. That's too bad. I thought he had a really great future ahead of him.

I think Fernando will end up like his predecessor, Fernandinho, play a couple of years really good in Ukraine, get forgotten of because he's in Eastern Europe, then comeback to relevance via transfer to a bigger team.. He'll succeed in the long run.

btw Mano Menezes is the new coach of Flamengo.. and Bielsa is close to being announced at Santos...

Rumors of Felipe Melo and Robinho to Flamengo now with Mano there.

He's a young very promising attacking midfielder.. after Oscar left, Fred was brought from the Youth team to replace him and tbh he's done a very good job ever since. Started a lot last Brasileirao and cemented his spot earlier this year.

15 million euros.. paid a steep price for this kid.

São Paulo have just signed Boca's Clemente Rodriguez.

São Paulo will play the Eusébio Cup on August 3 vs Benfica in Lisbon.

Flamengo will receive R$ 2 million to play against Coritiba in Brasília.

Santos apparently close to hiring manager Gerardo Tato Martino, from Newell's.

So it's official: we sold Fellype Gabriel to some Turkish team. It looks like Jefferson is on his way out if anyone coughs up 8 million Euros and either Vitinho or Doria might also go. We had already sold Jadson, a 19 year old kid with some potential) to Udinese for a paltry 2 milion Euros and in his position we have to play Marcello mattos and pay grandpa Renato's salary to sit on the bench.

And just like that, before the sixth game of the season, we have pretty much already given up. Sad

It's what happens when you mix incompetence with corruption. It ain't pretty.

Fellype Gabriel.. for how much???

I don't think Jefferson, Doria, nor Vitinho will leave before the season is over.. there's no way Botafogo is that dumb.

I also don't think Udinese will turn profit on Jadson. He was meh from what I've seen.

We got 3 million reais for Fellype Gabriel (we owned 50% of his rights) and we just sold Andrezinho to come Chinese club.  The fee was reported to be around 9 million reais but, once again, we only owned half of his rights so we'll be getting around 4.5 million reais.

Maybe that's enough to pay our short term debts.  Who knows...

As for Jadson, maybe he didn't have the potential to be WC but that doesn't mean he couldn't become a good player for us.  He's only 19 and we sold him for peanuts.

http://copadomundo.uol.com.br/noticias/redacao/2013/07/12/concessionaria-do-maracana-cobrara-no-minimo-r-100-por-ingresso.htm

It's a little convenient that the Engenhao is shut down a few months prior to the opening of the Maracana. Now, the Carioca clubs have no alternative but to make a deal with the new Maracana management. Fluminense got royally screwed in their deal. They'll be able to sell only the worse seats and the get no part of the money from parking, VIP area, and food and drinks. And to top it off, the new Maracana administrators have stated that the lowest ticket price for their allotment of seats will be 100 reais. This country is amazing.
