Re: Name five early season flops
Going to be a prick and add in Benzema solely because of that miss against Barca.
He scores that and Madrid go on to close the gap to 5 points.

Isla? He's been badly injured and hardly kicked a ball. Came on vs Chelsea and done exactly what Licht done.

Well, i didn't he has been injured for so long. the only time i watched juventus he was on the bench so i was quite surprising , as i rate im high.
Him coming back from injury make more sense.

The fact that Theo has been scoring goals with minimal amount of playing time make him the opposite of a flop-effecient?
I can also say that Giroud is not a flop because lot of our goals(not counting the direct assists) have come from/through him peeling away the defenders from other players(but i guess that is somewhat up for a debate because he IS a striker and hasn't been scoring.
If any thing- and I know i will get some heat for saying this, Thomas Vermaelen has not been his usual self.

Bojan?
KPB
I'm glad you added the question mark for Bojan. He has been one of Milan's best players everytime on the pitch and causes all sorts of havoc against the defence along with his brilliant combination with SES. His roles have switched between outside forward and CF. Long story short his general play has been brilliant yet he has been unlucky in front of goal in many ways, so he'll have to be ruled out.
I agree about KPB though as he has been one of our most frustrating players this season and cost us many chances.

I'm gonna have to say Lewandowski.
I don't care what people say he had a great season last year and def not living up to it this year.

Re: Name five early season flops
Ozil would be one, he has just not yet but his foot in where it should be eventho he continues to play great for Germany
Girourd is another but i suspect this is all he can offer
Lavezzi has also been a "flop" although he has had injury problems
EDIT: how did i forget Alves lol, looks disinterested in football atm

Stop it, stop it okey, stop it.
I know he messed up against City, but he's playing well.
one of my favorite, too bad he plays for Buttmound
Re: Name five early season flops
Gotta put up Mattia Destro unfortunately. We kicked out almost the same out Liverpool did for Borini and like his good friend, he's not been scoring goals when we need him to. Maybe it's a bit harsh considering his overall play is very good, but a striker should be scoring goals and Destro hasn't done that yet. You should expect more from a 12m purchase.
Also, Ivan Piris....goodness me his positioning is horrible. Doesn't know when to go forward and when to track back, constantly getting sucked in centrally by attackers, and simply doesn't know what to do when we're being hit on the counter. The understanding will come in time, but for now, this lad has got to do better.
I'm really tempted to say Dodo, but the poor guy has a glass knee and hasn't played 1 competitive fixture for us since we got him from Corinthians. The saving grace is that we got him on a free. I can certainly see why now. I hope he eventually comes good as he's looked talented enough to do so.

Almost exactly my thoughts on Borini. Still young, but for the money we paid for him and the situation Rodgers' got him for, he should have done more by now.

Well, he is playing as the first-choice-striker-by-a-country-mile for the league leaders with players like Mata, Hazard and Lampard supporting him, any striker is bound to perform decently. And he has been fine, sure, but not exactly special, imho.

Oh, forgot to comment on Walcott:
A curious case. Benched, but great substitute appearances. Half of me hopes to see him leave Arsenal, the other half would be pleased to read about his contract extension.

I've seen some Real fans complain about Iker's level right now.
Also, the entire Bilbao team. All of them.
