3-1. We pressed them in their own half, won the ball back and scored a goal. Manchester City look clueless. Should be 4-1. Sana missed a 1 on 1

I am shocked that Ajax are converting their chances.
And City miss De Jong cleaning up. Milner is mediocre, Barry is a tortoise, the kid Rodwell is disaster. The entire midfield has fallen apart.
Shocked @ AJax. With Poulsen, Schone & Eriksen/De Jong they are dominating Mid-field.

Why? I predicted we would dominate Manchester City. Ajax players are trained to retain possession in the midfield. City might look good in the English league, but their passing and positioning is average. De Boer would do wonders with that squad. Also We pressed and worked far harder.
I get the feeling that Roberto Mancini has a lot of divas on his hand. The effort that the City players are putting in is embarrassing.

You expect to score with Siem upfront. You couldnt win with Suarez Huntelaar against top European teams.
Not surprised @ all as Ajax are a footballing institution anyway not a plastic English Club where hoofball occurs

To be honest I was surprised. This was a victory of tactics. Ericksen was shifted to the false 9 postion and caused City's defence problems. This will give us much needed confidence

Mancini is tactically inept. de Boer out thought him. We were playing with one player up front, yet he went with three at the back. That is just tactical failure. We had spare men in the middle and we wre able to dominate the middle and overcrowd them seeing as their spare man was at the back, whiel ours was at the middle.
Great win. I don't really rate Manchester City so this means nothing.

Its not really Mancini's fault. Their mid-field has Barry Milner Yaya & Nasri. No really creative player in there to be honest.
English players mostly play hoofball, what do you expect of Barry & Milner. City should have spend another half a million & bought him Martinez, De Rossi, Veratti & so on.
