Garay could have done really well for us, but things never went his way with all the injuries and downtime.

I dont wanna be disappointed.

It seems the immediate plans are to sell Lass to offset the expense of signing Coentrao. The only issue is finding a club who wants him and is willing to pay the required amount.

The club want the situation resolved before Monday, which is when we travel out to pre-season.

u cant be serious. there is no buyer for lass (price tag too high and lass only wants manutd). dunno who in charge of transfers but he done messed up bad.

spurs and manu want lass, hopefully we can 20 mil for him

Yeah, he's said that he prefers a move back to the EPL. I'm not confident we can sell him for 20M and break-even, but perhaps a reduction of 5M could do the trick.

It depends how stern we are and what the other party is willing to pay. If we are serious about offloading him, a resolution will be found.

as much as i want lass to stay (he does give our squad a dimension we really dont have in the midfield- and we need this physicality in CL)

he has far surpassed the amount of yellows one can earn in la liga, hes a marked man for referees. so many times this year he has been given yellows he doesn't deserve.

-hes a physical player but there are countless challenges that were clean but awarded cards

we already made power moves to keep lass, he offered him a bigger contract than the already ridiculous one he has.

Matallanas keeps on mentioning Man utd wants him, i had hope he would go to a weaker team.

Madrid sold 50 percent of the rights to Ezequiel Garay to Benfica for €6 million, and the Portuguese club will have the opportunity to pay another €6 million next year to purchase the other 50 percent.

So he is on loan for a year basically and we have the option to get him back if the extra 6 million aren't paid? Or is the additional 6 million vested if he meets certain performance criteria, but the player is Benfica's now?

Pretty much he's Benfica's problem now they can either decide to purchase the other 50% at the end of the year off us or sell it to someone else or we can decide to try and buy it back lol

But in reality if all goes well he should go to Benfica for about €12m

So we bought coentrao for about €18m, not too bad

Hopefully Garay plays well and they want to keep him

I'm trying to explain on the main board that, from a business standpoint, our transfers have been great. It's just from a football standpoint that it often has not made sense in recent years. Of course, I'm not a fan of hording talent and benching a lot of them as a football fan... but 1) the players don't have to come and stay in Madrid; they choose to; and 2) we didn't invent the system; we're just the best at playing in it.

But of course, the hating continues. We "overpay" for everything and we're ruining football.

It's funny we spend more money than anyone else and yet among all the football teams in the world (in fact most sporting teams in general) we stand in a better financial position than them all.

We may not be winning many trophies atm, but that's simply because of Barcelona being so good, not any real failing on our part. Any other major club in the world would not do any better in La Liga than us, Man Utd proved that much in the Champions League final lmao

If we overcome Barcelona this coming season (which I truly believe we can) people, fans and pundits alike better get on their knees to kiss our feet and apologise lmao

everything is done regarding neymar and RM,his agent said it all depends on him saying yes when he comes back from Argentina

that's easy enough.

i'm curious what the details will be though, are we buying in a year, will there be a loan back to brazil if we pay this summer etc...?

madrid wants him to move in january,but santos want him to move in the next summer window,after the olympics.
