Adidas just owns Nike so hard in pretty much everything.
BTW, had to clean my shorts at 0:28 so have a napkin handy.

It's time to talk about Herrmann, not his first great performance.

I know I probably sound like a dick but the ref who tried to kill himself today and forced the cancellation of Köln - Mainz is by far the worst Bundesliga ref.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
All the talk about Dortmund/Bayen...
Aren't we overlooking the fact, that Borussia M.Gladbach strangled
Bremen 5-nothing? Sitting two points behind Bayern level with Dortmund...
Reus has a stellar season thus far, with 7 goals in the last 3 games!
Is this just a passing run of luck or will we see them in Europe next season?
Is Favre the key to success or just the right man at the right time?
What is your impression?

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Well, both Borussias are doing very well right now!
By the way, historically, Bavarians always had a problem with Prussians. And guess what - if you translate "Prussia" to Latin, you get "Borussia"
(Bayern 0:1 Borussia M'gladbach and Bayern 0:1 Borussia Dortmund - I see a pattern emerging )
And about M'gladbach - they were a force in the 70es. Currently, they extended ter Stegen's contract, and maybe they can hold on to Reus a little longer, then they should be able to stay up for a while.
Oh, and don't forget Schalke - they are doing pretty well atm, too!

Here's some Reus porn, BTW. The Arango goal was also sweet.
Maybe not Goetze, but still damn good.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Reus porn... yummy
Somebody has to tell me why again they were fighting against relegation last year??? maybe I'll never get it.
Arrango, Herrmann, Hanke , Dante all quality players... cutting through a defense like butter, yet again.
Well good to see them back on track and hunting for glory-days.
I really hope for Reus to stay a while longer. He should take example from Goetzinho & Nerman.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Wasn't Dante injured most of the last season? And ter Stegen only got called up into the team for the last 6 matches, and he was an instant success. If Bayern really sign Reus, maybe they could loan him back to MG for another season?ImAbackBone wrote:Reus porn... yummy

OK, I checked - Dante was out with a broken foot for the start of last season (September 2010 till November 2011) and then partly ruptured a knee ligament (November 2010-Januar 2011). He was missing sorely, I remembered.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
It's just half-time in the Friday match, the "Rhine Derby" between Köln and M'gladbach. As expected for a derby, the Rhein-Energie-Stadion is sold out with 50 000 people in it.
HT: 1.FC Köln 0:2 Borussia Mönchengladbach
0:1 (20., Hanke, assist by Herrmann)
0:2 (30., Arango, direct FK)
In the 34th minute, Podolski was denied by ter Stegen. ^^
