Celtic: Anything can happen v Juve
Celtic boss Neil Lennon hasn’t given up hope of reaching the quarter-finals of the Champions League despite being drawn against Juventus.
“In terms of glamour it's a beauty,” commented the former midfielder. “In terms of qualification it's going to be very, very tough.
“But it's a huge game to enjoy and relish and anything could happen over the two legs.”
Celtic will entertain the Old Lady on Tuesday 12 February, before heading to the Juventus Stadium on Wednesday 6 March for the return.
“They're one of Europe's great sides,” Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell told BBC Scotland after today’s pairings in Nyon.
“It'll be formidable in terms of the challenge, but we'll be ready,” he added.
“We've been magnificent throughout the qualifiers and group stage and we're looking forward to a great night at Celtic Park.
“We'll take inspiration from the last time we played them in 2001. Neil Lennon was in the team and it was a great night at Celtic Park with a great atmosphere.”
Celtic won that match 4-3.
