Scored 13 goals in a half including some amazing finishes....

now he is so bad, that I went on Newcastle forum, and they want him benched in favour of either Ameobis

and come on, it all can't be down to 4-4-2 , he seems unable to trap a ball these days

Cisse was moved to winger from CF and Ba returned to CF. He's being played out of position. That's why Ba leaving is really no huge deal for Newcastle imo.

Why would Arsenal want Ba? Without proper crosses, he's just as useful as Giroud lol. If Arsenal want a new striker, they should get a new type of striker...

Maybe his form will return in January. Ba scored first half of last season, Cisse scored 2nd half, Ba first half of this season and Cisse 2nd half of this season. hmm

Don't get why people get so giddy over players who are played out of position and don't play well, First Ba, then Poldi, now Cisse

I'm sure if Maldini was played as a winger, or Messi as a goalkeeper, they'd suck too

It's not the same and you know it. Playing a striker as an inside forward is hardly a change of position.This are flopolski and cisse cases.

Your analogy is so way off.

Podolski is a versatile forward,playing outwide is not something new to him..You wouldnt say he's being played 'out of position' ,you would rather say Centre Forward is his most effective position.Same applies to the likes of Ba too.

But again it remains to be seen how much more effective Podolski is at CF.

Podolski has played as a wide forward for good number of years for Germany and did reasonably well..Just saying.I wouldnt say he isnt accustomed to that position.

Just maybe he is simply not top club material :coffee:

Papiss is hardly playing as a true inside forward or goal scoring winger though. Newcastle's style of play, in this case, is as influential in his form as his playing out of position. The two combined go a long way.

Don't let logic get in the way of the bashing, though.
