Problem with Papis is that he's not that good technically and doesn't make great runs... not all that clinical either. Doesn't link up well too lol. Newcastle can do a lot better imo. He has a very good work rate which is his main strength.

Can score the great goal obviously... but i don't like how he looks out there.

I think he's improving tbh, he's been a lot better since Ba left.

I do agree with you on making great runs, but i think his link up has been better in recent weeks probably due to having Sissoko, Gouffran and Cabaye around him.

His confidence is still a little low, probably due to playing outwide and never getting any service is a lot to do with that.

Since Ba left he seems happier, his movement in the box has improve and his link up has improved as i mentioned even if his finishing remains a little erratic.

He's not as good as he showed in his 13 goals in 14 last season but he's better than he showed this season too IMO.

Ben Arfa is coming back starting the next game. With Ben Arfa, Gouffran, Sissoko and Cabaye feeding him, Cisse should kill it... if he doesn't then he's not good. Not to mention Santon and Debuchy attacking from the fullback spots.

Great little team Château Neuf has put together.

He'll get service that is for sure, speaking of Santon and Debuchy the former has 3 assists in his last 3 games and the latter was MOTM yesterday very happy with how they are coming along offensively.

Santon needs to improve defensively but if he doesn't we have Haidara to come in who impressed me big time against Metalist Kharkiv.

Is Cisse finished or what's going on? He's turning 29 in a few weeks and should be near his prime, but has been shite for two seasons now. He averaged more than 0.5 goals-per-game at Freiburg and had amazingly 13 in 14 in his first half-a-season at Newcastle. Then 8 in 36 and this season 2 in 24.

Should some club save him from Newcastle or should he be quietly forgotten?
