not very classy to dig out stories about hamann's gambling addiction etc. but it's no secret that barton will go all the way when someone pisses him off.

Started off funny then it gradually got more and more personal and it become pathetic really,they both come off looking immature and just sad tbh.How old are they? Both in their 30's?

Couldn't Hamman sue him for slander? He is publicly calling him a Coke head without any evidence.

Barton went to far IMO,basically calling him a Coke Head,a glue sniffer,calling his wife a wrongin then just to make it worse call him a Tourettes face because he has a nervous twitch.Saying shit about his kids not respecting him as well.

tbh, hamman posted on barton's twitter, which started the whole thing. If he doesn't want to get verbally abused, he shouldn't instigate like that.... and he knows what Barton is about. It's not like this type of reaction should be a surprise.

Ye Hamman started it,it was none of his business but there's still no need to go as far as Barton did.I wouldn't be surprised he didn't insult one of Hammans dead relatives or something,that was the next step.

If you read my history, I have always defended Joey, but I lost all my respect for him here.

Hamann simply said, don't cut the hands that feed you...and then Joey just completely went off. I was surprised.

Barton and Hamann used to have some really cool banters on twitter before....first I thought it's one of them, but I guess not.

Well, obviously Barton fell into Hamann's trap and went totally ballistic, thus making himself look like an utter moron (after all, he went around calling names and throwing around vulgarities, while Hamann mainly elegantly goaded him). English players really shouldn't touch twitter if they have a problem with anger management
