obviously van nistelrooy has retired now and was a slightly different player to what van persie is now but who would you rather have in your team ?

In my opinion Van Persie is technically the better player overall and the better finisher of difficult chances however Van Nistelrooy in his prime was a more clinical finisher

yeah i would tend to agree with you realgunner but i still think van nistelrooy purely in terms of finishing was better, but van persie is definetly the better overall player

Van Nistlerooy had a better career etc more consistent scored more goals....
However this Van Persie and the last years Van Persie is a better player then Nistlerooy ever was, I'd choose Van Persie for my team.

I like Ruud a lot more, but TBH, the way I'd want my team to play, would require a player like RVP and have no slot for a player like RVN Sad
Edit: I think RVN was better than RVP is now, though.

arsenal fans tend to overate their own/former players alot. i have gunner mates that were saying song was the best dm in the world. henry the best player ever etc. rvp has been amazing for 2 seasons but come off it rvn was a legend if rvp wasn't so injury prone over his career it would alter my decision. but he was
